'Auricula'

Auricula 'Mixed' - 5 auricula jumbo plug plants

Auricula 'Mixed' - 5 auricula jumbo plug plants

Highly prized by the Victorians, Primula auriculas are often overlooked today, in favour of showier species. This enchanting mix of Auriculas will bring a splash of spring colour to the garden, and a touch of vintage charm. These gently fragrant, evergreen perennials form neat, low-growing rosettes of leathery, green foliage. From April to May the flat-faced blooms are produced on stiffly upright stems in a fabulous range of colours. These hardy perennials are perfect for growing at the front of borders and dotted throughout rockeries and alpine gardens. The best colours can be potted up for an auricula theatre if you really want to show off! Height and spread: 20cm (8").
